Reports of Two Armed Robberies Monday Night

paris police carAt 11:36 P.M. on Monday, November 17, 2014, Paris Police responded to a panic alarm at 707 Bonham Street.

Paris Police Officers were advised that a black male wearing all black had robbed the store at gunpoint along with a second black male standing outside the store as a lookout.

The victim stated that the suspect had entered the store, pointed a black pistol at him and demanded the money from the cash register. After giving the suspect the money, the two suspects then fled on foot.

A second report of a robbery was reported at about 12:32 and the victims advised that a black male wearing all black had demanded money while brandishing a handgun but left when the victims refused to give up the money. It was reported that the second robbery occurred at about 11:15 which was prior to the first reported robbery.

Officers observed a vehicle at about 3:00 A.M. in the 2000 block of Lamar Ave that matched a description given of a possible suspect vehicle used in the robberies.

The vehicle was stopped in the 100 block of Hubbard Street. During the investigation, one of the subjects inside the vehicle matched the description of the robbery suspects.

One juvenile was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery. The other  juvenile driver was arrested on unrelated charges. The investigation continues.
