Leaderships Lamar ClassThe 2014-2015 Leadership Lamar County class met on Thursday, November 13, at Campbell’s Soup.  The class focused on Conflict Resolution in the workplace and everyday life.  Speaker/Consultant, Rick Miller, discussed Conflict Resolution with leaders for a portion of the day.  Mr. Miller presented strategies on how to identify and deal with conflict resolution in the work place, home, and community. Campbell’s Soup hosted lunch for the class with a variety of soups on a cold, chilly day.  Leaders and class members were able to taste the many soups made at the local Campbell’s Soup facility.

The class wrapped up the afternoon session by touring the Campbell Soup’s plant where they observed how the plant production line operates on a daily basis.  In addition, Debbie Rhodes spoke to the class and facilitated the importance of Mindful Living and Mindful Work.  With guidance from Mrs. Rhodes, the class members participated in real life meditation practices during the final hour of class.  Along with the presentations and information gathered throughout the day, Leadership Lamar County class sustained quality strategies for resolving conflict in everyday life.
