Damon Wells, Vice-President of Government Affairs for the National Turkey Federation, recently talked to Aikin students in a FaceTime video chat.
Wells, a Paris native and 1994 graduate of Paris High School, discussed Thanksgiving traditions involving turkeys with the students. Wells will take the “Presidential turkeys” to the White House next week for the traditional Thanksgiving pardon.
Aikin Science teacher Katharine Bryan arranged the FaceTime chat between Wells and Debbie McFadden’s second grade class.
