Myra Faye Cochran (Sue) Smith, 90, of Paris passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014 at her residence.
She was born on August 27, 1924 in Taylortown, Texas a daughter of Wiley and Norah Graham Cochran. Mrs. Cochran accepted Christ as a young girl and was a homemaker. She loved to garden and cook. The light of her life was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
On April 4, 1945 she married Horace J. Smith in Biardstown. He preceded her in death on June 28, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sister Idell Abbott, Wesley Cochran, Jesse Cochran and Billy Bates.
Mrs. Cochran is survived by her son Charles W. Smith and wife Cindy; grandchildren Shannon Lane and husband Lance, Allison Smith and husband Dr. Chad Smith, and Wade Smith; great grandchildren Hudson Smith, Claire Smith, Graham Smith, Preston Lane, and Gracie Lane; sister Estelle Cochran Margraves.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 24, 2014 in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Read officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Gardens with Lance Lane, Preston Lane, Dr. Chad Smith, Wade Smith, Jesse Cochran, and Barry Cope serving as pallbearers. Wanda Maxine Sorensen 77, of Paris, died at 3:45 AM, Friday, November 21, 2014 at Christus Dubuis Hospital of Paris. A memorial service is set for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Christian Fellowship Church with Bro. Cory Jones officiating. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of cremation arrangements.
Wanda was born January 19, 1937 in Terral, Oklahoma to Herman and Martha Jane Duncan Sandy. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who spent her life caring for her family. Mrs. Sorensen married Neal Allen Sorensen on August 11, 2007 at Christian Fellowship Church in Paris.
Survivors include her husband, Neal Sorensen and his children, Debra, Bud, Tammy, and Tom; one son, Rick Pickens and wife, Jolene; four grandchildren, David Crouse, Morgan Vaughn, Molly Pickens, and Madeline Pickens; one great-granddaughter, Alysia Crouse; and one brother, Milburn Sandy. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Mitch Pickens, Anne Arnett and their families. She was preceded in death by one son, Gary Russel and five siblings.

Nina Ruth Blevins Flowers, 76, of Paris passed away Thursday November 20, 2014 at her home. Funeral services were held at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. Saturday Nov. 22 with Rev. Mike Fortenberry officiating. A private burial will be at a later date. The family will receive friends 1 hour before service 2:00 until 3:00.
Nina was born October 3, 1938 in the Valley Creek Community in Fannin County a daughter of Loyd and Mable Robinson Blevins. She married Bobby Ray Flowers on Aug. 12, 1960 at the First Baptist Church in Randolph, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of East Paris Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Donald Blevins.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Bobby Flowers; daughter Debbie Mitchell and husband Mark; grandson Tim and wife Misty Peeples; great grandchildren, Brittney and Cody Peeples and a sister Jean Behrens.
Pallbearers will be Mark Mitchell, Tim Peeples, Jimmy Hevron, Byron Caylor, Jim Lassiter and honorary pallbearer, Jerry Dolf.

Alton Wesley Henson 72, of Powderly, died at 9:45 PM, Friday, November 21, 2014 at Paris Regional Medical Center. Funeral services are set for 2:00 PM, Monday, November 24, 2014 in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Dickey and Bro. Harold Henson officiating. Alton was born October 8, 1942 in Brownfield, Texas to Benjamin Jennings and LaRue Thomas Henson. He married Robbie Cravens on May 15, 1970 in Arthur City, Texas. Mr. Henson was a shipping clerk at Superior Switchboard Corporation for 23 years retiring as a county employee for Precinct 4 of Lamar County. He was of the Baptist faith attending Southside Baptist Church.
Mr. Henson is survived by his wife, Robbie Henson; two children, Chad Henson and wife, Tamyara and Christie Henson; two grandsons, Benjamin and Noah Henson; one brother, Harold Henson and wife, Robin; two sisters, Phyllis Conder and husband, David and Rita Conder and husband, Bruce; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Conder, Drew Conder, Chip McEwin, Greg Cravens, Brad McKnight, and Butch McKnight.
