Helen Marie Reaves, 81, of Paris passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Paris Regional Medical Center.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3rd, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Reaves, the daughter of Luther Marvin & Thelma Louise Taylor Reed, was born May 29, 1931, in Paris.
In 1969 she married H. C. Reaves, Jr. They owned and operated Reaves Cafe on North Main Street for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Debra Payne, and two sisters, Nancy Simmons & Dottie Tremble.
Survivors include her husband, H. C. Reaves, Jr., children, Dell Boswell & wife Melissa of Brookston, Barry Boswell & wife Donna of Sumner, Dennis Boswell & wife Belinda of Plano and Amy (Reaves) Dugay & husband Jeff (Tray) of Paris, a step-son, Gary Wayne Reaves, 26 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, a sister, Wanda Clark of Paris, a brother, James “Sonny” Reed & wife Shirley of Paris, several nieces & nephews along with a host of friends.
Casket bearers will be: Will Payne, Michael Payne, Michael Boswell, Levi Boswell, Tony Reed, Cody Reaves, Ricky Jones and John Lohrey.

Charles W. Hostetler, 85 of Paris, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at his home.
Graveside services have been scheduled for Monday, December 3, 2012 at Pleasant Hill Cemeterywith Rev. Jerry Hostetler officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 3:00 to 4:00 P.M. at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
He was born in Texarkana, Arkansas on May 27, 1927. He was a Baptist Minister and Evangelist for 27 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Lynda Carol Holder and husband Jack; son, Rickey Hostetler and wife Sarah; 7 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Hostetler.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Pauneece Hostetler; parents, Benjamin and Ollie Hostetler; 11 brothers and sisters.
