On Thursday evening November 27th, 2014 just after 9:00pm Reno Police Department made a traffic stop in the 6100 block of Lamar Road on a vehicle for failing to stay in a single traffic lane.
The driver was identified as Christopher Arnold, 32 years old of Reno. During the stop it was found that Arnold had traffic warrants for his arrest and was subsequently arrested for the charges.
During the inventory of the vehicle, items were found that were later identified as stolen items from local burglary cases, along with prescription drugs that were not prescribed.
In all, Arnold was arrested for five charges; warrants for Driving While License Invalid and Violate Promise to Appear. As well as new charges for Driving While License Invalid with previous convictions, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, and Theft for being in possession of stolen property.
Arnold was transported to Lamar County Jail without incident. The cases for which the stolen property was recovered are currently under investigation by local agencies.
