David Frederick Perkins, 62, of Addison, formerly of Paris, died Thursday, November 20, 2014 at his home. Cremation arrangements were conducted by Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
A Remembrance Memorial Service is planned for December 6, 2014 in the Fellowship Hall at Spring Lake Baptist Church from 5-7 pm in Paris, Texas. Family and friends are welcome to join and remember David and celebrate his life.
David was born on February 1, 1952 in Borger, TX the son of Clarence F. Perkins and Zelma Mae Vandever Perkins. David worked as a Peace Officer for Lamar County, Fannin County and Red River County for over 30 years in the State of Texas before retiring in 2008.
David was preceded in death by his parents Clarence F. and Zelma Mae Perkins.
He is survived by his daughter, Meredith Leigh Perkins, who he spent his last year with, living in Addison, Texas. David was a beloved father and friend to many over the years and will be greatly missed.
