Henry0001John Glen Henry, 85, of Paris, Passed away Wednesday, December 03, 2014, at Heritage House of Paris.

Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. John Proctor officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Henry, the son of Jesse Frank Henry & Carrie Madeline Baker Henry, was born Dec. 24, 1928.

His career with B & W spanned twenty-five years before his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his wife of over fifty years, Margaret Henry, and by nine brothers & two sisters.

Survivors include three children, Johnny Henry & wife Laura of Allen, Tommy Henry & wife Joan of Sulphur Springs and Vickie Proctor & husband Rev. John Proctor of Paris, six grandchildren, Mark Henry, Julie Barnett, Ronny Henry, Donny Henry, Gina Crites and Jency Yates, nine great grandchildren, one sister, Betty Ann Jarrett along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.

richardson001Jackie Marie Richardson, 80 years old of Paris, was called home to Heaven on December 3rd, 2014.

She was born in Paris, Texas on February 25th, 1934. She graduated from Powderly High School, and later from Cosmetology School in Memphis, Tennessee. She worked as a Beautician most of her adult life.

Jackie married Norris Aaron Richardson on August 6, 1954. Together they had 2 children; James Kenneth Richardson in 1957, and John Keith Richardson in 1961. She is survived by her 2 children and their wives Katherine and Tammy; her grandchildren Jenny Katherine, James Aaron, Joshua Keith, and Tara Nichol; along with 3 great grandchildren Mackenzie, Madison, and Mariah. Jackie is also survived by her sister Nancy Bonds and her brother Ralph K. Allred. She is preceded in death by her husband Norris in 1998 and her brother James V. Allred in 2005.

She lived the last 4 years of her life at The Home Place of Paris where she was loved and cared for by the wonderful staff and residents. They will miss Jackie.

The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 PM Friday evening at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home at 730 Clarksville Street in Paris.  The Graveside service will be at Providence Cemetery on FM 195 just outside of Paris at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 6, 2014 with Bro. Patrick Cannon officiating.

We loved our Mother and will miss her very much. She loved us unconditionally, and always put our needs before her own. She was a wonderful mother, the best! So now we celebrate that Mom has been called home and is: “Absent from the body, Present with the Lord”!  Hallelujah!
