From Breakfast with Santa to Alice in Wonderland at PCT, this Saturday, December 13th, Paris will once again offer a wide variety of holiday activities for the whole family.
First, “Breakfast with Santa” is 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM at the Love Civic Center, call 903-784-9289 for reserved tickets.
Then in downtown Paris at noon is the annual “Santa Paws for a Cause.” The dog parade will begin on west side of downtown Plaza.
Stop by the Sam Bell Maxey House State Historic Site on Saturday, December 13 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. to participate in “Christmas at the Maxey House.” Visitors will step into a Victorian family’s home in the midst of celebrating Christmas. Come learn about past Christmas traditions from the late 1800s and see how today’s Christmas is both different and similar to a Victorian family’s Christmas.
Wassail Fest will be from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM in many downtown Paris retailers. Come enjoy wassail in many of the downtown stores. There is no fee for this.
The Carriage House will have a Wine Tasting from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM. The Carriage House is located at 21 Clarksville Street.
The downtown area will be flooded with people hoping to win the “Shop Local” drawing that evening.The $5,000 and $10,000 drawing will begin at 6pm on the Plaza.
Also, take the whole family to Wonderland this Holiday by seeing “Alice in Wonderland” presented by the Paris Community Theatre begins at 7:30pm.
