leadershipThe 2014 – 2015 Leadership Lamar Class met on Thursday, December 11th at Harrison Walker & Harper.  The class focused on Time Management/Organization in both the workplace and everyday life, understanding that our personal lives and families need the type of strategic planning that we implement in our organizations.

The morning session was lead by speaker Mark Young who discussed the book, “The Three Big Questions for a Frantic Family.”  Mr. Young then reviewed the Introduction of The Family Scoreboard and the importance of developing a Rally Cry.  The class later worked in groups to develop a “Class Scoreboard and Rally Cry.”

The class enjoyed lunch provided by Harrison Walker Harper followed by a tour of their We Pack facility.

In addition, the afternoon session of the class was lead by Tom Ivers, Engineering Manger @ Kimberly Clark Corporation.  Mr. Ivers discussed the importance of scheduling our priorities and performing the Quadrant Self Assessment as a personal reflection of how we spend our time and prioritization.
