Marian  Cutshall0001Marian “Mame” Cutshall, 90, of Paris, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 7th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Pastor Cindy Baker Burnett officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cutshall, the daughter of John & Anna Benzine Blech, was born Sept. 2, 1922, in Sumner, Iowa. She married George Paul Ohligschlager, and he died serving his country during World War II. During the war Mame worked for the telephone company. On Dec. 28, 1947, she married Glenn Roy Cutshall building fifty-one years of family & memories before his death on March 28, 1999.

She has been described as a very hardworking, dedicated woman, working side by side with her husband on their farms, and then coming in to prepare a wonderful meal for her family.  She was active in her church circle at First Presbyterian Church in Deport where she was a member. She loved children and was always full of fun, only giving up her roller skates at age 65.

Also preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers, August Blech & Arnold Blech.

Survivors include three children, Georgia Talent & husband Carroll of Tularosa, NM, Sharyl Thompson & husband Joe of Pattonville and Timm Cutshall of Detroit, grandchildren; Alissa Cutshall of Commerce, Stefanie Barber & husband Danny of Detroit, Charlie Cutshall of Paris, Monica Crosby & husband Bill of Socorro, NM, Angela Talent of Alamogordo, NM and Anna Jones & husband Jeremiah of Paris, great grandchildren; Jessica Jones of Powderly, Ty Jones of Powderly, Gavin Cutshall of Blossom, Leland Jones of Paris, Ryker Jones of Paris, Sophia Crosby of Socorro, NM and Olivia Crosby of Socorro, NM, two sisters, Lucille Davis of Salt Lake City, UT and Doris Rubsam of Fresno, CA, two brothers, John Blech of Clovis, CA and Robert Blech of Fresno, CA along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
