kelley001Jessie Marie “Maria” Kelley, 71, of Powderly passed away Wednesday January 14, 2015 at Paris Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday Jan. 18 at Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Michael King officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery in Perryton, Tx. The family will receive friends Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home Saturday 6-7 p.m.

Maria was born February 23, 1943 in Minter, Texas a daughter of Clarence Beason and Viola Vada Ward Grimes. She married Marvin Lee Kelley, Sr. on February 23, 1963 in Arlington, Tx. She was a Private Caregiver and a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sister, Eunice Jarrell; brothers William and Glenn Grimes, a sister Eunice Jarrell.

She is survived by children Diana Buckner of Amarillo, Marvin Lee Kelley Jr. of Perryton, Mitchell Kelley and wife Nancy of Lawrence, Kansas; grandchildren Raymond Buckner, Trey Kelley, Braden Kelley, Konner Kelley, Kyler Kelley, Kirsten King, Buddy McNelly; sisters Juanita McKee and husband Charles and Gearldene Harendt.

Eunice Jarrell of Denton, formerly of Paris passed away Sunday January 11, 2014 in Denton County. Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday Jan. 18 at Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Michael King officiating. Burial will follow in Long Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday 6-7 p.m. at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.

She was born March 23, 1930 in Paris a daughter of Clarence Beason and Viola Ward Grimes. She was married to V.M. Jarrell. She was a hairdresser.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and brothers, William and Glenn Grimes, and a sister.

She is survived by her children Sandra Howe of Cooper, Deborah Leonard of Ft. Worth, Billy Jack Howe of Arlington; 10 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren; sisters Geraldine Harendt, Marie “Maria” Kelley of Powderly and Juanita McKee all of Powderly.
