The Paris Police Department has released photos of the vehicle that crashed through the Swaim Hardware store building in downtown Paris on January 16th..
At 2:47 A.M. on January 16, 2015, Paris Police responded to a call of a vehicle that had struck a building in the 200 block of SW 1st Street.
Officers found that a blue 2001 Ford Explorer had driven into the front doors at Swaim’s Hardware.
The witness who called the police advised that when he arrived, he observed three black males wearing hoodies with bandanas over their faces run south from the building.
The vehicle was found to have been stolen from the 100 block of SE 16th Street.
Surveillance video shows the vehicle striking the front doors of the building, three subjects exiting the vehicle, and two entering the store while one stayed by the door as an apparant lookout. It has not been determined if the suspects took any merchandise from the store before fleeing the scene.
