Paris Police responded to a disturbance call in the 1800 block of Polk St at 2:11 P.M. on Friday, January 23, 2015. It was reported that two males were assaulting another male in the front yard.
Paris Police Officers arrived and found evidence that was consistant of an assault. Officers later learned that a 59 year old male of Austin, Texas had been assaulted. The victim was located laying in a hallway floor inside the residence and was bound and gagged.
The victim advised that he came to the residence to pick up a female to give her a ride back to Austin. The victim stated that when he arrived at the house, he was assaulted by two males while inside his vehicle.
The suspects then drug him inside the residence and stole the victim’s wallet and the keys to his vehicle.
Arrested were 32 year old Stephanie Ann Carter, 25 year old Kenneth Paul Preston, II, (pictured above) and 32 year old Goeffery Andrew Weeden, all from Paris.
All three were charged with aggravated robbery and unlawful restraint.
Preston was additionally charged with evading arrest and criminal trespass after he fled and was caught a few blocks from the scene.
The victim was transported to PRMC where he was treated for several lacerations to his head.
