Dragons jumped out to an early lead on NEOSHO and captured a 17-2 victory on Saturday.

The game was decided quickly as Dragons exerted its will early with seven runs in the first three innings.

A two-run single by Jessica Jones, an RBI double by Alexa Anzaldua, a groundout by Brooke January, an error, an RBI single by Rachel Withers, and an error during the first inning helped Dragons put some runs on the board early.

Anzaldua had two extra-base hits for Dragons.

Dragons increased its lead with six runs in the fourth. Jones’ solo blast got things going.

Dragons piled on four more runs in the top of the fifth. The inning got off to a hot start when Anzaldua homered.
