Randall “Randy” Mobley, 44 of Paris, Texas was indicted on one count of possession of child pornography, offense level four. A federal grand jury charged Mobley on February 19, 2015 in the U.S. District Court Eastern Division of Texas Tyler Division.
According to court documents, on or about August 6, 2014, Randall Mobley did knowingly possess material, namely a Gateway laptop computer, that contained images of child pornography involving prepubescent minors who had not attained 12 years of age. The materials, transported by interstate commerce, constitute a federal offense.
The videos depict prepubescent females in lewd and lascivious sexual acts with adult males. If convicted Mobley could be imprisoned for up to 20 years.
The case is set for a Pretrial Conference on May 11, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. in Tyler, Texas. On this date a jury will be selected and a trial date set.
The defendant plead not guilty and was released from federal custody on March 2, 2015 on condition of bond.
