HUGH W. BREM, 69, born on May 17th, 1945 in Paris, passed away on Sunday March 15th at Lake Worth Nursing Home in Fort Worth, Texas.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday March 19th, 2015 in the chapel of Starrett Funeral Home with Rev. Don Parker officiating. His family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Hugh will be laid to rest in Shady Grove Cemetery in Lamar County with military honors.
Hugh was the son of James Brem and Rebecca Green Brem. He was of the Baptist faith. At the age of 17 he entered the U.S. Army, serving in Germany. After attending Military Police school he served from 1966 to 1972 in Vietnam as an M.P. He was a sergeant in the 82nd Airborne (MP) division.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Bill Green and Mr. & Mrs. Hugh Brem; by his father James Brem; his step-father Clifton Lendis; his brother, James Brem; and a sister Linda West.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Brem; two children from his first wife, daughter Rebecca and adopted son John Brem; two step sons, David and Delfin Diaz; four grandchildren, Jakob & Michael Kohler, Samanpha & Harley Bren; by his mother Rebecca Lenoir; his aunt Lillie James; a sister Libbie Baxter; a step-sister Barbara Cooper, four nieces, three nephews, and numerous other cousins, extended family and friends.
In honor of his service to our country, pallbearers will be members of the Northeast Texas Patriot Guard.

Clara Christine Kelley, 92, of Reno, passed away Monday, March 16, 2015.
Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 21st, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Hutchison officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Private burial will be made in Meadowbrook Gardens.
Mrs. Kelley, the daughter of Roy & Jessie Levina Floyd Powers, was born Dec. 13, 1922, in Minter. She married L. S. Kelley, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 23, 1975. She was also preceded in death by a son, Mikial Kelley.
She owned and operated a beauty shop in Amarillo, and when she & her husband moved to Lamar County she was a beautician in Sumner. She & Mr. Kelley owned & operated Kelley’s BBQ until his death in 1975. Clara was a member of the Sumner – Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Caldwell of Las Vegas, NV, grandchildren, James Kelley & wife Barbara of McKinney, Kelley Caldwell Halliday & husband Mike of Las Vegas, NV and Joey Caldwell of Richardson, a brother, Talma Powers of Amarillo, a sister, Ruby Hoover of Denison along with several nieces & nephews.

Robert Davis Clark, 77, of English, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at Titus County Regional Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled private graveside services for Wednesday afternoon, March 18th, at Turner Cemetery in Fulbright.
Mr. Clark, the son of Paul Davis Clark and Jurie Kathleen Hill Clark, was born Nov. 4, 1937, in Amarillo.
He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp from Nov. 29, 1955 through May 30, 1960. For a number of years he was a dispatcher for the Santa Fe Railroad. When he and his wife moved to Dallas he became a security guard until his retirement.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Limbock Clark, on June 29, 2012, a son-in-law, Dennis Pelliccione, on Dec. 17, 2014, a granddaughter, Amanda Cabler, his parents and a sister.
Survivors include two daughters, Vicki Troxell & husband Michael of English and Bobbi Pelliccione of Golden Valley, AZ, two sons, John Clark of Golden Valley, AZ and Robert Clark of Paris, four step-children, Becky Nolan of Lavon, Carrie Cabler of Garland, James Taber of Kansas and Steve Cabler & wife Gloria of Spring, seventeen grandchildren along with one great grandchild.
