JEANNA KAY WARD ERVIN, 65, of Paris, passed away Tuesday March 17, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday March 20, 2015 in the chapel of Starrett Funeral Home, with Bro. Kelly Collins officiating. Interment will follow in the Lone Star Cemetery in Morris County. There will be no formal visitation.
Jeanna was born October 26, 1949, in Paris, the daughter of Charles Edward “Buddy”Ward, and Thelma Fern Davison Ward. She worked in Cosmetology and Home Healthcare, but spent the last 20 years as a Homemaker, enjoying time with her family, children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Scott “Brake” Brakefield, and her mother and father, Charles and Thelma Ward.
Survivors include her longtime partner, Sam Ervin; daughter and son-in-law, Cassie and Mitchell Mullens of Denton; three brothers, Gary Don Ward, Kenneth Dale Ward, and Dennis Edward Ward, all of Paris; five grandchildren, Beau Scott Brakefield, Kalei Kim Brakefield, Mitchell Cole Mullens, Kyle Reed Mullens, and Collin Wade Mullens; and many nieces and extended family.
Jeanna was loved and adored by her family, and will be truly missed.

Wayne Edward Courville, 75, of Paris, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Paris Regional Medical Center.
A private memorial service will be held. Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.
Mr. Courville, the son of Clarence & Katherine Courville, was born Sept. 16, 1939, in Escanaba, MI.
He served in the U. S. Army Air Corp during the Vietnam era. His career as an over-the-road truck driver spanned over thirty years.
Wayne was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.
He built forty-five years of family and memories with his wife, Loretta Courville, before her passing on Nov. 11, 2010. He was also preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Peg Caesar.
Survivors include a son, Joseph Courville & wife Susane of Denton, a daughter, Sherri Ramos & husband John of Lewisville, a sister, Joanne Weston & husband Terry of Lincoln, CA along with a brother-in-law, Russ Caesar of Portland, MI.
