On Friday, March 20th, 69 year old Raymond Lonnie Jones, (pictured right) of Paris was arrested in the 1900 block of Lamar Avenue when officers with the Paris Police Department executed a search warrant at that location.
Jones was observed working on a vehicle and attempting to remove an item from his shirt pocket when officer made contact with him. It was found that the item was a small baggie containing a crystal substance reportedly believed to methamphetamine.
Also arrested were 30 year old Cameron Steele Lewis and 37 year old Christi Dawn Nelson, both of Paris, who were found to be in possession of several different prescription pills that they did not have prescriptions for.
All three were later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
