Lorene Sullivan Lawler, 93, of Paris, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015, at Paris Regional Medical Center.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 2nd, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lawler, the daughter of Claude & Eula Bagley Head, was born Jan. 29, 1922, in Lamar County.
She married Howard Sullivan, and he preceded her in death. She later married Bill Lawler, and he also preceded her in death as did a son, Larry Sullivan.
Lorene’s career at the Dairy Queen on Lamar Avenue spanned over thirty years. She enjoyed all her customers and was known county wide by the ones she served.
Survivors include a son, David Sullivan & wife Keye, three grandsons, Cody & Harmony Sullivan, Wesley Sullivan, and Daniel & Jennifer Lee all of Odessa, a daughter-in-law, Nita Fowler of Paris, a sister, Ann Brackeen of Texarkana, a sister-in-law, Rhea Head of Ft. Worth along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.

Martha Ann Stephens, 67, of Paris passed away Tuesday April 21, 2015. A memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday May 3 at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Jody VanDever officiating. Cremation arrangements were made by Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
