Paris Police stopped a vehicle in the 1900 block of SW Loop 286 at 11:27 P.M. on Friday, May 8, 2015 for displaying an expired registration.
The driver, 39 year old Jason Shane Flowers, (pictured right) of Sawyer, Oklahoma, was placed under arrest.
An inventory of the vehicle reportedly resulted in the discovery of approximately 6 ounces of methamphetamine along with paraphernalia.
Also arrested was the passenger, 38 year old Amanda Lea Weems, of Paris.
Both were charged with manufacturing or delivering a controlled substance of more than 4 grams but less than 200 grams. Both were later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
