Patsy A. “Pat” Towers, 69, of Paris, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015, at Medical City Hospital in Dallas.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 18th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Myre officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Private burial will be made in McDonald Cemetery.
Pat, the daughter of Carl B. & Mamie Sisson Thompson, was born February 12, 1946, in Paris.
She graduated from Delmar High School. Following graduation she attended beauty school in Ft. Worth. Her career in hairdressing & cosmetology spanned fifty-two years. She owned and operated Pat’s Style City here in Paris and forty-one years ago she moved the shop near her home south of Paris.
Pat dedicated her life to her parents, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, clients/friends, and her shop.
Survivors include her daughters, Carla Leann Carmon of Lindale and Kelly Whitley & husband Sherman of Paris, grandchildren, Kory Carmon & Breana, Kameron Carmon & Tarrah, Kaleigh Welch & Jimmy, Karli Carmon and Kris Carmon, great grandchildren, Gavin Carmon, Alexis Carmon and Nolan Carmon along with a plethora of friends.
She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Paris Cancer Center, 3550 N. E. Loop 286, Paris, TX 75460.

Larry Joe Wadford, 54, of Paris, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015, at his home.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 17th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Bush officiating. Burial will follow in Long Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 – 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Larry, the son of Leon Joe & Robbie Vickers Wadford, was born Jan. 15, 1961, in Paris.
He graduated from North Lamar High School in 1980. He was a licensed minister and performed numerous weddings and a number of funerals. His career with Lamar County spanned nineteen years. There he worked with the road crew operating heavy equipment. Larry worked four years at Evergreen Cemetery.
He was an avid CB Radio operator, hunter and gun collector. Larry enjoyed going to junk stores and pawn shops, where he had many friends. Larry’s talents were many, but leatherwork & playing guitar were his specialties.
He never met a stranger, and when one would visit his home he always greeted you with a smile and made you feel welcome.
His parents and two granddaughters, Stephanie Lynn Pitcock and Shelby Lee Spradlin, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Sherley Smith Wadford, whom he married on Nov. 14, 1981, building 33 years of family and memories, three daughters, Jennifer Cato & husband Jammie of Powderly, Selena Dianne Barber & partner Josh Saunders of Paris and Leandrea Wadford & fiancé Keith Darnell of Talco, grandchildren, Landon Joshua Williams, Lloyd Williams, Ryan Williams, Haley Spradlin, Courtney Spradlin, Heather Spradlin, Brandon Asbery and Devin Asbery, three sisters, Judy Grimes, Teresa Brockway and Beverly Yell along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends which include his best friends & companions, Shadow, Tiger & Blackie.
Casket bearers will be: Landon Williams, Lloyd Williams, Ryan Williams, Jammie Cato, Josh Saunders and Keith Darnell.
