Paris, Texas Main Street is hosting a second “Junk in the Trunk Sale” in downtown Paris.
Parking spaces around the JJ Culbertson fountain in downtown Paris will be blocked off and leased to potential garage sale and other specialty item vendors. Vendors are encouraged to fill their cars with resale items and bring them downtown to sell. Specialty Crafts are allowed. NO trailers will be allowed.
Patrons are invited to downtown Paris for a morning of great finds and deals.
Vendor guidelines are available online at the City of Paris website. A vendor application will have to be filled out and returned before setting up. Applications will be accepted through June 5tt and can be returned to the Lamar County Chamber of Commerce, located at 8 West Plaza in downtown Paris or City Hall Annex, 150 SE 1st Street. In the event of over flow of vendors, the Market Square Farmer Market will be available.
“We have seen this idea grow in other cities into something really big. This seems like a perfect way to make good use of the efforts of the Red River Valley Tourism Association HWY 82/287 Yard Sale patrons’ says Cheri Bedford, Main Street Coordinator.
