Brock Garrison, a sophomore at North Lamar High School, has been selected to sing at the Future Business Leaders Association (FBLA) National Leadership Conference in Chicago, Illinois on June 29. He will sing the national anthem in front of approximately 12,000 people from all over the world.
Garrison and freshman Melody Shannon competed at the state level in March through Skype when they were unable to travel to San Antonio due to the weather. Shannon advanced to the national level in Public Speaking I while Garrison made alternate in Public Speaking II.
Both will represent North Lamar and Lamar County well this summer! Sponsors accompanying them to the national conference will be Yvonne Parson and Angela Shannon.
