EPrince001lbert Lee Prince 74, of Paris, formerly of Fort Worth, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 27, 2015.  Funeral services are set for 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 30, 2015 in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. John Hennen officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time Saturday prior to the service.  Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Prince was born to Luther and Iva Reisor Prince in Greenville, Texas.  He was employed by Kroger for 20 years including time in Forth Worth, Greenville, Garland and Paris.  He retired from Winn Dixie in Forth Worth and returned to Paris to make his home.  He was of the Baptist faith.

He had been a member of the Paris Bass Club, North Star 8 Square Dance Club, and Pine Ridge Golf Club.  His greatest joy was being outside and enjoying God’s handy work.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting.  In his retirement he loved golf, country and western music, and square dancing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Nelda Hawkins and Alma Sorbet; and one brother Rayford Prince.  He is survived by two nephews, Randy Sorbet and Craig Hawkins; two nieces, Sherry Jones and Lisa McNeil; great-nieces and nephews; and his caregiver and special friend, Betty Toland.

Casket bearers will be James Babb, Dennie Hines, Larry Gray, Chuck Paper, Marty Suggs, Charlie Suggs, and Bruce Raney.  Honorary bearers are all of his golfing buddies at Pine Ridge Golf Course.

Chandlyr Faith Swafford, infant daughter of Neal & Dana Brockway Swafford, returned to her heavenly Father on Sunday, May 24, 2015, at Medical City Hospital in Dallas.

Private graveside services, with family & close friends, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 30th, at Long Cemetery with Rev. Steve Gunter officiating. Bright-Holland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Jonathan David Swafford and grandfathers, Danny Brockway and David Swafford.

Survivors include her parents, Jonathan Neal Swafford & Dana Renee Brockway Swafford of Paris, two sisters, Ryann and Skylar Swafford of the home, grandparents, Teresa Brockway and Rachelle & Keith Nash all of Paris, aunts & uncles, April Brockway, Aaron & Laci Swafford, Clint & Melanie Swafford and Jennifer Grissom all of Paris along with several cousins.
