Summer Kids Programs at the Paris Public Library

ParisPubLibraryThe Paris Public Library has many free summer programs for kids.

Every Wednesday at 10:30am there is “Story Time” for children ages 3-5 (must be accompanied by an adult). Activities include singing dancing, books, show-and-tell, storytelling-music, finger-plays, numbers and letters, puppets, flannel-board stories, scavenger hunts and other cool, educational activities.

Special programs in June include “Howdy Do-Dat” a presentation of magic, comedy and ventriloquism for ages 6-12 on Friday, June 12th at 11am and again at 1pm.

Twist-It Creations” on Thursday, June 18th at 11am and 1pm for ages 4-10.  And Music and Stories by Lenn Barnett and Catherine Whitman on Friday, June 26th at 11am at Bywaters Park.

Reservations are required for all summer programs. You must be on the reservation list to attend each event
(except for the program at Bywaters Park on Friday, June 26).

The library also has a summer reading club. Registration for the summer Reading Club opened on June 1st and closes on Monday, June 22nd at 6pm.  The last day to turn In Reading Logs for Prizes is Tuesday, June 30th.
