Mendy Williams, 40 of Blossom, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015. Funeral services have been set for Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Love Civic Center with Rev. Larry Young, Rev. Mike Fortenberry and Rev. Harry Long officiating.
Interment will follow at Knights of Honor Cemetery in Blossom, Texas. No visitation has been scheduled. Mendy was a Nail Technician for over 22 years at Town & Country Beauty Shop.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Patrick Williams; son, Preston Williams; parents, Bud and Paulette Dobbs; brother, Glen Dobbs and wife Crissy; grandmother, Margie Smith and husband Bill; niece, Miranda Dobbs; several aunts, uncles and cousins; father and mother-in-law; Pat and Wanda Williams; sisters-in-law, Kim Allen and husband Ricky, Patti Ballard and husband Jeff; brothers-in-law, Aaron Williams and Darron Williams; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arlie and Lilly Dobbs; grandfather, Paul Pitcock.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Aaron Williams, Darron Williams, Dakota Henderson, Terry Henderson, Chad Whitley, Cody Woodard, Shane Watson and Brandon Smith.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Chad Posey, Thomas Bolton, Cory May, Heath Sessums, James Gray, Louis Bowerman and Toby Dockray.

Patti Moore Shannon, age 62, passed peacefully from this life on Monday, June 15, 2015. A memorial service has been set for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 17, 2015 in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home.
She was born in Paris, Texas on July 13, 1952, to the late Melba and Dub Moore. Patti had lived in Arlington, Texas for the past 36 years and retired from The University of Texas at Arlington after 28 years of employment with the state.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Patti is survived by her husband, Dennis Shannon, of Arlington; son Patrick Trotter of Fort Worth, Texas; stepsons Jeff Shannon and wife Jacqueline of McKinney, Texas and Bryan Shannon and wife Tame of Puyallup, Washington; brother Phil Moore and wife Linda of Lubbock, Texas; grandchildren Nikki, Cooper, Tristan and Maren Trotter and Justin, Brayden, Breck and Colton Shannon.
Patti loved animals, especially her horses and her dogs.

Brenda Joyce Garrett, 74, of Blossom, passed away Sunday June 14, 2015 at her home. There will be a celebration of her life beginning at 3:00 p.m. Thursday at her home at 630 West Division Apt. #3. Friends and family are welcome. Cremation arrangements were arranged by Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
Brenda was born September 16, 1940 in Blossom a daughter of Jack Weldon Woodard, Sr. and Ione Conn Woodard. She was an Executive Assistant in the banking industry.
She is survived by her daughter Kimberly; grandchildren Jeremy and Laura; sisters Connie and Norma and brother, Jack.
