Paris ISD’s Future Problem Solving Program Brings Home International Wins

FPS International Winners 2015Paris ISD Future Problem students competed against 4,000 from the nation and 11 foreign countries at the International Conference.  They won two first place awards, two third place awards, one fourth place award, and three finalist honors.  They are coached by Debb Fleming, Sandra Strom, Dr. Janet Dickey, and Kathy Peterson.

Hana Syed won 1st place and Mikaila Rogers won 4th place in the Scenario Writing Junior Division.  Sahil Prakash won 1st place in the Senior Division of Individual Community Problem Solving for his project Pedal On.  Zain Syed was a member of the 3rd  place scenario writing team in the Middle Division.

The team of Will Elliott, Lucas Grossnickle, Zachary De La Garza and Reagan Stone placed 3rd in Global Issues in the Senior Division.  Molly Jackson was a member of the 3rd place Global Issues Alternates team in the Senior Division.  The Senior Team of Valery White, Jordan Meredith, Danielle Callaway and Kaileb Williamson made the finals.  Individual Community Problem Solver James Petrikas made the finals in the Junior Division for his Project P.R.I.D.E.  The Community Problem Solving Team Operation Wildcat Pride also made the finals in the Junior Division .
