The United States Supreme Court has just released its ruling on Same Sex Marriage, upholding the right for all couples to marry in all fifty states.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is warning Texas County Clerks not to issue marriage licenses to same sex couples until he has had the opportunity to ‘provide direction and clarity,’ on the issue.
Voting 5-4, with Justice Anthony Kennedy joining the four Democratic appointees on the court, the majority stated that states lack any legitimate reason to deprive gay couples of the freedom to marry.
