Paris Police received a report of a theft that had occurred at Campbell Soup.
It was reported that a private contractor had finished a job and had loaded several rented welders and welding leads onto pallets to be returned to the owner in Longview, Texas.
When the contractor received the bill, they noticed that seven 50’ welding leads and one 25’ stinger lead were not received by the owners and they were being billed for them. The contractor advised that the leads had been placed on the pallets with the welders. The leads are valued at $1,500.
The incident is under investigation.
