Teen dies in fatal collision

At 2:01 P.M. on July 14, 2015, Paris Police and Emergency Personnel responded to a fatality accident in the 2900 block of SE Loop 286. 17 year old Gracee Morrison, of Paris, was driving a 2003 red Ford Mustang travelling southbound in the 3400 block of S Collegiate Dr and had stopped at the stop sign. The Mustang then proceeded through the intersection and was struck by a 2007 White Chevrolet Tahoe driven by a 41 year old female travelling westbound in the 2800 block of SE Loop 286. The driver of the Mustang suffered severe injuries and was transported Paris Regional Medical Center where she later succumbed to her injuries. A 16 year old female passenger in the Mustang was hospitalized for non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Tahoe was treated at the Paris Regional Medical Center Emergency Room for minor injuries and was released.
