Paris Police arrested 18 year old Coty Wayne Taylor, of Paris and a juvenile accomplice at 9:01 A.M. on July 14, 2015 in the 1500 block of South Collegiate Dr when officers deatined them and Taylor gave a fictitious date of birth. A disturbance had been reported in the 3100 block of Clarksville St and the two had been named as offenders in an assault. Upon further investigation, both were charged with injury to a disabled person and the juvenile was charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon when he was found to be in possession of an illegal knife. Taylor was later transported to the Lamar County Jail and the juvenile was detained and placed in the Hunt County Juvenile Detention Center.
