While on a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Maple Ave, Paris Police were advised that one of the occupants of the vehicle had two outstanding felony theft warrants from Dallas County And Arlington, Texas Police Department. 38 year old Rayla Jeanette McCurry, from Terrell, Texas was arrested at 2:00 P.M. on July 15, 2015 and was later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
On Friday July 17th Hargis Electric will be doing quarterly maintenance on the outdoor warning sirens in the city. It may be necessary to temporarily activate a siren(s) while performing the maintenance.
Paris Police responded to 98 calls for service, and arrested 4 persons on July 15, 2015.
