The Paris Police Department responded to the 1500 block of Grove Street at 12:01 p.m. on Friday, July 24, where it was reported that some unknown person(s) had pried open a back door to the Wayside Church of God in Christ and stole the sound system and two speakers, according to Public Information Officer Curtis Garrett.
The report states that the items were in the building on Wednesday, July 22. The investigation showed that the suspect(s) pried open the upstairs back door to gain entry into the building, Garrett said.
