According to Chief of Police, Bob Hundley, Jr. the following information regarding Paris Police Department activity for the first six months of 2015 was given to the city council last night at the Monday, July 27th meeting.
Paris Police officers have answered 22,991 calls for service in the first six months of 2015.
Officers made a total of 1,138 arrests during the six month time period. Adults arrested numbered 1,101 and Juveniles numbered 37. Officers made 3,610 traffic stops and issued 1,812 citations.
The Paris Police Department Outreach programs included 27 events with a total of 72 contact hours. And the Citizen on Patrol Volunteer Hours totaled 694.
