MARTHA FAYE SPEARS, 71, of Paris, died at 10:34 AM, Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services are set for 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 18, 2014 in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Millsap officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 PM Friday evening at the funeral home. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Martha was born April 6, 1942 in Paris to Earnest and Billie Faye Millsap Turner. She married Raymond Eugene Spears on July 22, 1957 in Paris. He died January 21, 2013. She was a homemaker and member of Life Church.
Mrs. Spears is survived by three children, Martha Wyant, Roy Spears, and Crystal Spears; thirteen grandchildren, Danny Clack, Malachi Wyant, Desiree, Arlissa, Brandon, and Stylles Spears, Michael Tillery, Kay Tucker, Casey Spears, Tommy Spears, Lacy and Landan Jackson; seventeen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald Keith and Glen Turner; and four sisters, Fonda King, Sue Lester, Sherry Ebbs, and Gloria Holly. She was preceded in death by two children, Earnest Eugene Spears and Kimmy Diane Spears.
Pallbearers will be Chris Naylor, Michael Tillery, Glen Wyant, Malachi Wyant, Danny Clack, Guage Tillery, Chris Tillery, and Casey Spears.
