A Special Called Meeting of the board of the Paris Economic Development Corporation (PEDC) has been called for Friday, August 7th at noon. The meeting is open to the public and will be held at the Community Room at the Depot, located at 1125 Bonham Street.
Vice Chair John Brockman will call the meeting to order and the PEDC board will immediately convene into closed Executive Session. The agenda lists the reason for closed session to discuss and deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property; and to discuss or deliberate commercial or financial information they have received from a business prospect or an offer of a financial or other incentive to a business prospect.
Following the closed session, the PEDC board will reconvene into Open Session and possibly take action on any items discussed during the Executive Session.
