bishop pnMary Lee Bishop, 76, of Paris, Texas passed away Monday, January 13, 2014 at Heritage House. Graveside services will be conducted at 4:00 P.M. Thursday, January 16, 2014 in the Forest Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Mickey Kelley officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bishop was born on August 14, 1937 in Lamar County a daughter of Elmer Roscoe and Mary Ann Wharton Hicks. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Edwin Henry Scheer on April 20, 1986 and was preceded in death by her husband Otto Bishop on May 28, 2012.

Survivors include her children Roberta Dianne Sulsar of Paris, John Alan Scheer of Lewisville; grandchildren Bradley Alan Scheer of McKinney, Ashley Nicole Hines of Murray, Kentucky, Rachel Anne Sulsar of Paris, Lauren “Paige” Fleming of Paris, Colten Nash Scheer of Lewisville; great grandchildren Kiersten Scheer, Makenzie Sulsar, Avery Hines, Cale Boswell, Lily & Christian Scheer; brother William (Bill) Hicks.

Pallbearers will be James Hicks, Robert Hicks, Billy Hicks, Tracy Kelley, Carl Hicks, and Glen Vanderburg.
