The Fourth Annual “Rides for a Reason” benefitting Dylan’s Drivers is to be held this Saturday, September 19th at the Love Civic Center.
The day will begin at 8am with a 5K Run/Walk sponsored by Orr Honda, followed by the Dylan Ballard Memorial Motorcycle Ride at 9am.
There will also be a dunking booth, a classic car show, a motorcycle Poker Run, a Silent Auction and a Softball tournament. For more information or to register for any of these events, visit www.dylansdrivers.org. You can also register for the run Saturday morning.
There will also be a drawing for a 2015 Harley Davidson Motorcycle and a Kubota Mower (pictured) at 3pm. The Hamburger Tailgate Party is from 11am – 2:30pm.
Live music will begin at 10am and run throughout the day. The line-up of musicians, sponsored by 104.3 the River and Big Kountry Productions is as follows:

Dylan’s Drivers is one of the 21 partner agencies of the United Way. It was born from the tragedy that took the life of Dylan Ballard on August 1, 2011. Dylan’s Drivers is a designated driver program that offers a non judgmental, confidential safe and free ride home for anyone in Lamar County. The goal of Dylan’s Drivers, a 501(c)(3) non profit is to prevent another tragedy in our community. Rides are offered Thursdays from 10pm-2am and Friday and Saturday nights from 10pm – 3am.
