At 4:17 A.M. on September 29, 2015, Paris Police responded to a call of a shooting in the 1500 block of E Sherman Street.
The 28 year old victim stated that he and his wife were asleep when they heard someone banging on the front door of the residence. The victim looked out the window and observed two black males standing in his yard about 10 yards from the front door.
The victim opened the door and stepped into the doorway when one of the suspects pointed a gun at him and fired. The bullet hit the victim in his lower leg.
The unknown suspects fled the scene before officers arrival. The victim was air lifted to a Dallas hospital for treatment.
The investigation continues.
