The 2nd Annual Poppa Joes Big Bass Fishing Tournament will be held this Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Pat Mayse Lake (Sanders Cove, Loop C).
The tournament begins at 6am and weigh in is from noon-3pm.
The fee for Anglers is $40 and Jr. Anglers is $25.
The fishing tournament is hosted by the Joe Howard Memorial Foundation. Joe Howard was a City of Paris Paramedic that passed away in a motorcycle accident on October 13, 2013.
The Foundation is a non-profit 501.c.3 that helps provide scholarships to paramedic students and to help the less fortunate of Lamar County, such as providing kids with back to school kits and Christmas gifts.
