Paris Police Officers responded to two separate incidences where jewelry was stolen form local pawn shops.
The first incident was reported at 1:58 P.M. on September 29, 2015 where a heavy set black male entered Seay’s Pawn Shop in the 2500 block of Church Street and requested to look at some rings.
When the subject left, the owner observed two rings missing.
The second incident was reported at 2:36 P.M. and officers were advised that this theft had actually occurred on September 26, 2015 and a ring was found missing after a large black male requested to look at some jewelry and left the store. It is unknown if the suspects in these cases are the same person.
The missing jewelry is estimated to be valued at $1,900.
