On September 25th, the Paris High School swim team traveled to The Colony to compete in the annual Colony Sprint Meet.
Although only two of the girls swim team members competed, junior Shelby Wilson and sophomore Reagan Stone, they finished in the 7th place out of 15 schools.
The PHS boys finished 9th out of thirteen schools.
In the 25 free, the girls placed 2nd and 3rd out of 70 girls. Shelby Wilson was 2nd with a 13.57 and Reagan Stone was 3rd with a 13.72.
Stone also finished first in the 50 Fly (out of 36 girls) with a 29.93 and Wilson finished 4th in the 50 Breast 9out of 47 swimmers) with a 37.63.
On the boys side for Paris High, junior Keyton Gilbert placed 9th (out of 38) in the 100 IM with a time of 1:04:99 and 9th out of 45 swimmers in the 50 Fly with a time of 27.54.
In the 25 Free, out of 74 swimmers, juniors Brendan Henry finished 13th (13.25); Dalton Kee 16th (13.70) and Mason Hevron 48th (16.32). Henry also placed 28th out of 103 swimmers in the 50 Free with a time of 27.96.
