Paris Police responded to an assault in the 3700 block of Pine Mill Rd at 10:08 P.M. on October 11, 2015.
It was reported that a 46 year old female was arguing with a her ex-boyfriend, 54 year old Leslie Wayne Jordan, (right) in the common area of the trailer park. Jordan accused her of having a relationship with the 42 year old victim that had just exited from a camper trailer.
Jordan and the victim then began to argue and a fight ensued. During the fight, 68 year old Claude Heflin came to assist Jordan. Heflin had a hunting knife and cut the victim twice while Jordan held the victim on the ground.
Both Heflin and Jordan were arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The victim was observed to have large lacerations to his left side and his left arm.
The victim was transported to PRMC for treatment. He was later released.
Jordan and Heflin were later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
