An on-going large level Marijuana investigation conducted in cooperation with the United States Postal Inspection Service, the Lamar County Sheriff’s Narcotics and the Paris Police Narcotics resulted in a search warrant and the arrest of four individuals yesterday.
A search warrant executed at a residence in the 1000 block of 35th N.E. in Paris resulted in the seizure of over 5lbs of marijuana, a large amount of currency, over $20,000.00 dollars, and a pickup truck.
Four individuals were arrested in result of this warrant: Derek Harris w/m, Clifton Robinson b/m, Joshua Pate w/m, and a Jesus Perez-Yanez w/m.

The individuals arrested were found to be participating in the distribution of marijuana.
All four individuals were charged with Possession of Marijuana over 5lbs less than 50lbs a felony, and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity a felony.
They were transported to the Lamar County Jail and are awaiting arraignment.
This on-going investigation between numerous law enforcement entities and their working relationships has prevented this marijuana from hitting our streets and our communities.
Justice of the Peace, Gene Hobbs arraigned these subjects today and each received a $ 20,000 bond for Possession of Marijuana over 5lbs less than 50lbs and $ 20,000 bond for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity.
