A representative from the Ben and Maytee Fisch College of Pharmacy at The University of Texas at Tyler will be at Paris Junior College on Nov. 2 to speak about their new pharmacy school.
“This is the only pharmacy program I know of in Texas accepting students beginning their junior year,” said PJC Science Division Chair Dr. Jack Brown. “That means that a student who took the required courses here at PJC and received their associates degree could enter the pharmacy school and finish in six years instead of eight.”
Anyone interested in the pharmacy profession is welcome to attend. The talk will be at 12:15 p.m. in the Math & Science Building, Room 207 on Monday, Nov. 2.
