The Paris Junior College Continuing Education Department will offer health care and computer classes, as well as Spanish for Fun, in November.

The Driver’s Education class, approved by the Texas Department of Public Safety, meets from 4 to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday, Nov. 2-Dec. 3.
Microsoft Word Level 1 covers creating, saving and opening documents; editing documents; cut/copy/paste and find/replace; formatting text and paragraphs; formatting documents; creating and formatting tables. The class meets Mondays and Wednesday, Nov. 2-9, from 6 to 8:20 p.m.
The Radiology Seminar will provide a comprehensive review of the art and science of diagnostic Radiologic Technology and a step-by-step method of preparation for the successful completion the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) Registry Examination. The seminar is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 2-3, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Heartsaver First Aid CPR & AED (automated external defibrillator) class teaches basic first aid and CPR/AED procedures, including first aid skills recommended by the Occupational Safety and Health Agency, to those with a duty to respond to a first aid or cardiac emergency. The course meets Friday, Nov. 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Spanish for Fun gives you a practical and functional use of the language in a very short period of time. The class meets Tuesday and Thursday, Nov. 10-19, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers Recertification is offered from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12. The American Heart Association certifies the class.
Microsoft Access Level 1 is a database program used to manage data that is organized into list, such as information about customers, products, inventory, sales, vendors, etc. The class meets Mondays and Wednesday, Nov. 16-23 from 6 to 8:20 p.m.
