GomilliomAustin Gomillion, 17, of Detroit, Texas, passed away Friday, Oct. 30, 2015, at his home in Detroit, TX.

Memorial services are scheduled for Nov. 12, 2015, in Perryville, Arkansas. Cremation was under the care & direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.

Austin was born Oct. 30, 1998, at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, AR to Norman H. Gomillion and Dyrles A. Farrell (maiden). Austin was homeschooled with honors. He was a loving and comical son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was also an animal lover. He especially loved his horse and lifelong friend, Diamond and dog, Isabelle. He was proud of being a prolife activist to fight for the rights of unborn children.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Patricia Ann Hanby (maiden).

Survivors include his father, Norman H. Gomillion of Paron, AR, his mother, Dyrles A. Pennington, step-father, Daniel W. Pennington of Detroit, TX, sister, Kara A. Belk and husband Jeremy, niece Cheyenne M. Belk all of Perryville, AR, brother, Raymond Dyrl Johnson & fiancé Elisha Cummins of Perryville, AR, brother, Jay Gomillion and wife Mandy, nephew Gavin W. Gomillion all of Philadelphia, MS, his best friend, Jacob D. Castro of Bennington, OK along with many other family members and friends.

Inez Head Helm, 87, of Paris, passed away Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015, at Brentwood Terrace.

Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Aaron Alsbrook officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Helm, the daughter of Ellis & Loda Caldwell Waggoner, was born Jan. 17, 1928, in Montgomery County, Arkansas.

She married Lois Dean Head on Jan. 28, 1944, building fifty-three years of family and memories before his death on Nov. 9, 1997. Inez then married Jerry Helm in 1998, and he preceded her in death in 2013.

Her career with Westinghouse/Phillips Lighting spanned thirty-one years before her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter-in-law, Pam Head, and four siblings, Bernice Pendleton, Louise Mackey, Harold Waggoner and Shirley Culpepper.

Survivors include three children, Nancy Parson & husband Mickey of Maxey, Jimmy Head of Caviness and Mike Head & wife Deborah of Caviness,  four step-children, Gayla Babb of Powderly, Jerry Don Helm of Paris, Laura Ann Early & husband Steve of Hazlet and Jeff Helm of Dallas, a brother, Jerry Waggoner & wife Clara of Blossom, a sister, Charlene Sloate & husband Bob of Paris, seven grandchildren, Rhonda Lorensen & husband Steve of Arizona, Lee Parson & wife Tania of Maxey, Dana Alsbrook & husband Aaron of Oklahoma, Jamie Braxton & husband Anthony of Caviness, Jodie Beshirs & husband Gerald of Faught, Cody Head & wife Kristi of Paris and Casey Meyer of Paris, twenty great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren along with many nieces & nephews and a plethora of friends.

Casket bearers will be: Lee Parson, Cody Head, Anthony Braxton, Janzen Welch, Rickey Mackey and Aaron Alsbrook. Honorary bearers will be: Cameron Beshirs, Colton Beshirs and Sam Alsbrook.
