WANTED: 2,000 boxes of stuffing.
The Downtown Food Pantry had an overwhelming response last year during their pre-Thanksgiving “Stuffing Drive” and are trying it again this year.
The goal is to give a box of stuffing mix to each household they serve. That is approximately 2,000 boxes.
Brookshire’s is helping the cause by making it available at all check-out stations.
The Food Pantry will begin passing out the boxes of stuffing on Nov. 12th, so they need to start receiving the donations now.
