Students from Paris High School and North Lamar High School competed yesterday in the Special Olympics Texas: Greater Dallas Area Bowling Competition at USA Bowl in Dallas.
This is an area-wide competition for athletes with intellectual disabilities. This is the largest competition in the Greater Dallas Area serving approximately 3,000 bowlers.

In addition, Paris High Key Club members were Special Olympic Key Volunteers at the Competition and each directed eight athletes from multiple schools. They insured the athletes bowled on the proper lanes during league style bowling, monitored behaviors, encouraged athletes to do their best and conducted scoring completions of each game.
